Welcome to the second chapter of our journey. We are so glad to have you on board! Thank you for being.
In this section we explore the Mother. She, in our view, is the one fanning the flame. After we have sparked our curiousity with the Maiden, now it is time to feed that fire. To fan the flame. To nurture that source of warmth and companionship within us.
So - WHO is the Mother?
Naturally, there are as many answers as there are mothers on the planet. However, the Mother energy as part of the archetype is concerned has some definitions that we are going to explore:
She is caring and nurturing. She is responsable, dependable and sets clear boundaries. The Mother stand for abundance and leadership. She is capable and constrained. She can be a very fierce defender of life and has much determination.
All in all - the Mother is amazing!
And whether you have physically born children or not - there is a Mother inside you, waiting to love, support and embrace you and those around you.
The stories we will explore in this part of our journey are:
Black Bull of Norway
This is a traditional Scottish tale of journeying and great trials. Would you confront your assumptions and discover great joy and purpose in your life? Our heroine has many trials to deal with over the years. Learning a trade she eventually climbs the mountain to rescue the ones she loves.

This beautiful story explores the giving aspect of the feminine - and what happens when it is exploited. Where are you giving in your life? Where are you giving too much? Where do you feel you are not giving enough?
The Dance of Kali
This goddess story takes us right into the fierce aspects of the Mother. Kali has much to teach us about defending life and taking no b-s.
